Aliyaah’s Senior Session

We could not have gotten any luckier with the perfect weather we got on this day. A heat wave in October.. Only in California! We had a blast during the shoot, and the photos came out absolutely gorgeous. She was a brave girl and even got herself in the cold water as the sun was setting, but it was well worth it for the beautiful shots we got.

My four year old nephew, Gavin

Watching him grow up has been amazing, not to mention how quickly it is happening! Seems like not so long ago I was trying to make him giggle as a newborn, (realizing he wasn’t able to smile yet, but trying anyways.) He is growing up a sweet, smart, and fun boy and am looking forward to seeing all his stages in life.

Taytum and his Mommy & Daddy

Anytime I have a shoot with a sweet little one (such as 4 year old Taytum) where I get to run around the playground and climb up slides, I’m all in. We all had a great time, and it’s such a blast photographing and interacting with families and their little ones.

Family shoot in Nebraska

I spent a week in Colorado and Nebraska visiting with family. My cousin Sandi and her family came down from Canada, and my cousin Lee-An and her family, who live in Colorado, myself and my Nana all went out to my Aunt’s ranch in Nebraska for our family celebration. It was a gorgeous day and we got everyone together for some great family photos. I love being a photographer and love all my subjects, but it’s extra special when I get to photograph my own family.

They had a Christmas card photo taken like this years ago, and wanted a now and then photo.. Super cute.ImageImageImageImage

All the kids.. including myself 🙂Image

Got everybody together.. Nana, her daughter Sheila, and Sheila’s two daughters and their families… My lovely big family.

Last of the day… Zoey!

This sweet five year old really has got it all. She’s athletic, full of life and energy, and has a larger than life personality. She loved having her picture taken and came pose-ready. Even after venturing off into the playground, she still managed to have enough patience left to continue taking pictures while she was playing; what a win-win!

First of Two posts… Baby Natalie!

I spent about an hour with this precious little six month old, and she never fussed once and was full of expressions and smiles that would melt a heart of stone. Witnessing her fascination with a world that is still so new to her is one of the most exciting experiences one could imagine… What it must have felt like being that little in such a big world.

P.S. An exciting fact about lovely little Natalie… I met her before she was ever born; while shooting her mommy Meghan’s maternity photos! 🙂
