One of my favorite weddings of 2015! What do you get when you cross a classically beautiful bride, awesome location, and a warm summer day? You get THIS wedding. Aimee and Brad got married at the chapel at Fort Mason, and it could not have been a more perfect setting. From her beautiful and unique blush pink dress and veil, their laid-back classic style, and the vintage feel, I was in heaven! I found myself using a lot of black and whites, (and even a polaroid filtered image,) to really let the emotion do the talking in these photos. Even their ceremony was one of the most emotional ones I’ve witnessed so far, as you’ll see from the images.
Been reminiscing about warm summer days lately? I must have been too, since I’m finally getting around to posting this lovely summer wedding! (Although I must admit I do love the rain.)
Erika and Andrew chose the historic, quaint Jack House property in San Luis Obispo, California for their sweet summer nuptials. Complete with bright, vivid florals and summery details, it was a beautiful outdoor garden wedding.
I’ve known Tamra for some years now, when we used to be coworkers, and I’m truly happy for her and to be a part of her day! I did a session with her and her amazing son (See Tamra & Robbie) and it’s been great working with her through such important times in her life. Her and her new husband both have wonderful children and all are now a big happy family. True love story! Love this sweet country barn wedding on a perfect warm July
Let’s face it… one of the cutest babies ever right here. So maybe I’m a little biased… (she’s my niece!) She fought falling asleep with all her little might during picture time, yet was passed out cold before and after. I have the same luck with her older brother, but I see it as them preparing me for the worst, thanks guys 😉 Regardless, once little princess decided it was picture time I couldn’t stop clicking; absolutely adorable! We laid her in an antique baby cradle, wrapped her up in a wicker basket, and I had an absolute field day of cuteness. My first real full newborn shoot, and I’m so proud that it was my very own niece. Super adorable and happy with how they came out, and can’t wait to embarrass her boyfriends with them when she grows up, if her mom doesn’t beat me to it first! Xx
Such a fun country shoot! Tamra used to be one of my coworkers, and I’ve done a shoot with her and son, so when I found out she wanted me as her wedding photographer I was thrilled. We went out to the barn on the ranch where they are holding their wedding, (which I am also shooting of course,) and it got me even more excited about their wedding. Such a sweet and fun couple and we had a blast with all the elements and props already laying around the ranch. Country shabby chic to a tee! It’s one of my favorite things to arrive at a location and already be inspired before even picking up my camera! We even got lucky enough to have a gorgeous evening ended by a beautiful sunset.
Not quite sure where to even start! Such a beautiful fall day in Santa Barbara. Starting off with Ashley and his guys getting ready at the Coast Village Inn, (a very entertaining and comical bunch they were,) and then off to the gorgeous Montecito Inn to capture the equally gorgeous bride Connie as she finished getting ready.
With a very elegant ceremony and reception at the Santa Barbara Polo club and perfect weather, it was by far one of my favorite weddings. Everything from the details, to the dress, to the seemingly magical reception canopy. Oh yeah, and can’t forget the fact that every guest danced the entire night away and had a blast. After I shot their amazing LA engagement shoot, (check it out at https://amandastilesphotography.wordpress.com/2013/05/29/connie-ashley/ ) I was so excited for what their wedding had in store, and I for sure wasn’t disappointed!
OBSESSED with her beautiful engagement ring.
Connie is a wonderful singer and sang Norah Jones’ “Come Away With Me” to her new husband. So beautiful!
When Dawn called me and told me her idea of of doing a shoot with her kids in their normal, daily lives at home as a way to capture memories before selling their current house, I immediately loved the idea. I really liked the spontaneity of it… from driving around in the flashy cadillac, to picking veggies in the garden, and everything in between. They were such an adorable pair, brother and sister Brant and Genna, and as a whole make such a fun, loving family.
Such a cute family! This is my second year taking their portraits, and it’s awesome to see how the kids have grown. Had a great day, full of perfect weather, an amazing location out on Vandenberg Air Force Base, and even saw some whales. Xx
