Erika & Andrew’s San Luis Obispo wedding

Been reminiscing about warm summer days lately? I must have been too, since I’m finally getting around to posting this lovely summer wedding! (Although I must admit I do love the rain.)
Erika and Andrew chose the historic, quaint Jack House property in San Luis Obispo, California for their sweet summer nuptials. Complete with bright, vivid florals and summery details, it was a beautiful outdoor garden wedding.

Enjoy! xx

Connie & Ashley married!

Not quite sure where to even start! Such a beautiful fall day in Santa Barbara. Starting off with Ashley and his guys getting ready at the Coast Village Inn, (a very entertaining and comical bunch they were,) and then off to the gorgeous Montecito Inn to capture the equally gorgeous bride Connie as she finished getting ready.

With a very elegant ceremony and reception at the Santa Barbara Polo club and perfect weather, it was by far one of my favorite weddings. Everything from the details, to the dress, to the seemingly magical reception canopy. Oh yeah, and can’t forget the fact that every guest danced the entire night away and had a blast. After I shot their amazing LA engagement shoot, (check it out at https://amandastilesphotography.wordpress.com/2013/05/29/connie-ashley/ ) I was so excited for what their wedding had in store, and I for sure wasn’t disappointed!

Enjoy

Connie is a wonderful singer and sang Norah Jones’ “Come Away With Me” to her new husband. So beautiful!ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Griffin & Brian’s wedding 7-18-12

The lovely bride Griffin: being a photographer and former “Brookie” like myself, I was honestly somewhat worried about how she would react to having another photographer in charge of her wedding. (Besides the fact that photographers are notorious for hating being in front of the lens, and oh yeah… quite particular about how they are photographed.) All my worries went out the window as soon as it came time, though; her and her groom Brian were so easy going and a blast to work with. They were truly made for each other, and their love and adoration for each other is clear as day.

Even as the rain slowly started to fall on the beach during their ceremony, everything still ran smoothly and beautifully. Followed by a lovely reception at the Ventura Harbor Sheraton, it was an exciting, happy day had by all.

Enjoy!

Griffin and her bridesmaids wore pretty anklets and their bare feet for the beach ceremonyImageImageImageImage

Griffin wore her mother’s wedding vail; a very special touch.Image

Since the ceremony was barefoot, Griffin wore a pair of sparkly flats for walking around and at the reception… adorable!ImageImageImageImage
