This was such a lovely wedding at Nella Terra Winery in Sunol, California. A perfectly warm day, with plenty of warm smiles to match. Jessica and Shane just recently celebrated their one year anniversary and I figured it was finally time to get this gorgeous day up on the blog! They have so much love for each other and it radiated through every aspect of the day. With gorgeous details throughout the day complete with a fairytale ending by a weeping willow.

One of my favorite weddings of 2015! What do you get when you cross a classically beautiful bride, awesome location, and a warm summer day? You get THIS wedding. Aimee and Brad got married at the chapel at Fort Mason, and it could not have been a more perfect setting. From her beautiful and unique blush pink dress and veil, their laid-back classic style, and the vintage feel, I was in heaven! I found myself using a lot of black and whites, (and even a polaroid filtered image,) to really let the emotion do the talking in these photos. Even their ceremony was one of the most emotional ones I’ve witnessed so far, as you’ll see from the images.

Been reminiscing about warm summer days lately? I must have been too, since I’m finally getting around to posting this lovely summer wedding! (Although I must admit I do love the rain.)
Erika and Andrew chose the historic, quaint Jack House property in San Luis Obispo, California for their sweet summer nuptials. Complete with bright,vivid florals and summery details, it was a beautiful outdoor garden wedding.

You probably remember this adorable couple from their beautiful sunset engagement shoot. (Click here if you need a refresher) The day took place at a beautiful vacation rental home in Santa Rosa, complete with infinity pool and beautiful palms and balustrades.They had a stunning Indian ceremony, with their own personal touch; instead of the groom riding in on a white horse, he came in on a motorcycle! They later changed into traditional wedding attire for their reception. We were graced with another gorgeous location and lovely weather, and made for a wedding day that left me awestruck!

This is another one of those sessions where the photos just seem to get more magical as they go; the light was fantastic on that evening and we shot well into dusk. Even aside from the beautiful day, they’re such a sweet and fun (and needless to say adorable) couple and we had a blast.
SO excited to post this session. We had a rare treat of a warm sunny day, AND a great sunset in San Francisco at Sutro Baths. This is one of my favorite locations since it’s so beautiful and has so many sites in one area. Such a sweet and fun couple and I had a blast shooting their engagement photos. Can’t wait for their Santa Rosa wedding in May!

So I will be the first to admit… I’m pretty behind on my blogs, but that just means I’ve been busy, right? 😉
Anyways… I was so touched (and lets be honest, insanely excited,) when Ed reached out to me to shoot his proposal. He told me all about his fiancé and his love for her and I was literally brought to tears during our initial conversation. He told me his plan to take her to one of his favorite childhood spots, and we coordinated it from there. I hid out in a crowd of tourists with a super long lens (feeling a little like a sniper.) It was tough to get great shots without a bunch of people in the way, but I was able to capture the entire moment of him coaxing her onto the sand in her heels to when he dropped to one knee and she said yes.
Naturally, their engagement session was one of the happiest I’ve ever done, even for myself. It was all so fresh and exciting and you can truly see it in their faces.
So, guys, take my advice here, kill two birds with one stone (yep I said it, one less photo session you have to be put through?) and have your proposal photographed AND engagement photos to follow. You’ll both obviously be in a great mood, you’ll already be ready, and you’ll have every single moment captured. What could be better than that? She’ll love you for it even more.

I realized I am a little behind in posting this blog when I had thought of the fact that this fabulous soon to be mama of two does now, in fact, have two! She gave birth to another darling little one just a couple weeks ago. Excited to meet him and photograph the sweet new addition!
Mickey is so sweet and full of life. We walked around the neighborhood getting different scenes, and even fully pregnant AND in heels she was happy, energetic, and graceful. So much fun, and the photos really capture that in her!

I’ve known Tamra for some years now, when we used to be coworkers, and I’m truly happy for her and to be a part of her day! I did a session with her and her amazing son (See Tamra & Robbie) and it’s been great working with her through such important times in her life. Her and her new husband both have wonderful children and all are now a big happy family. True love story!

Let’s face it… one of the cutest babies ever right here. So maybe I’m a little biased… (she’s my niece!) She fought falling asleep with all her little might during picture time, yet was passed out cold before and after. I have the same luck with her older brother, but I see it as them preparing me for the worst, thanks guys 😉 Regardless, once little princess decided it was picture time I couldn’t stop clicking; absolutely adorable! We laid her in an antique baby cradle, wrapped her up in a wicker basket, and I had an absolute field day of cuteness. My first real full newborn shoot, and I’m so proud that it was my very own niece. Super adorable and happy with how they came out, and can’t wait to embarrass her boyfriends with them when she grows up, if her mom doesn’t beat me to it first!
